punjabifrog on Tuesday, April 07, 2009 Try to understand the meaning of this song, those people who think that beliving in one god will make them faster growing. According to me every religion is perfect but few narrow minded, people are laker ke fakeer. they dont want to go right way and they make there own mind set on behalf of there religion, well is this written sum where or not. but whats the problem if sum one sings a song in front of religious place ???
luv humanity!!

Time has came we all need to realize we all have to work together to enhance our productivity to meet future challenges as humans and must not lead to create hatred among eachother. Lets join hands ... creating differences in lives with our hardwork and love urself and to love everyone..GODBLESS HUMANS
KarthikSoun on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 God did not create man, man created God out of fear and continuous to worship him out of fear and insecurity. Remove the Fear from our brains and the need for God or crime goes out of the window.
squ34ky2 on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 You're a fool. Krishna cults are so sixties. The world has moved on.

sivashan2 on Monday, October 05, 2009 God Bless Sahir Ludhyanvi!! (Real Name Abdul Haye Chaudhary)
He migrated from Lahore to Delhi in 1949 and gave Independent India her the lyrics for life. Secularism lives on Sahir Sahib.
Urdu Adab and the people of India will be ever indebted to this great man.
Makes me proud to be Indian.

tutonicgrit on Friday, February 26, 2010 To all the self-righteous people who say that Hinudism is the only religion which teaches respect for others: remember Gujarat, Orissa, Ayodhya. Where was your great tolerance then?
tutonicgrit on Friday, February 26, 2010 Such a ridiculous comment!
san2765 on Friday, March 05, 2010 We can go on arguing endlessly about religion and its effects on our lives... what matters is that we should live clean and honest lives and strive to do the right thing. That is the essence of all religions. Meanwhile, sit back and enjoy the wonderful composition uploaded for our ears.

drmewani on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 religions were made to make people bond together, but somehow few mean people changed it to hate others just because he/she is not of ur religion.
10ZeeKay on Wednesday, June 08, 2011 I fell in love with Nanda as a child when i saw this song not knowing the miraculous voice was that of Lata. With all the technology man has not been able to produce a voice like this with machines / computers.
Bharat Gul on Monday, December 05, 2011 An ecumenical hymn that even thoughtful atheists should be able to embrace
, for Sahir's words( he was an atheist himself) transcend all sectarian
religions and are meant to unify humanity. With Jaidev and Lataji lending
music and voice to the words, all doubts about the ultimate divinity being
beyond any and all priestly canon, should easily dissipate. Thanks for the
post.

Such songs are to be listened with your hearts and not through your ears!
An evergreen bhajan in musical history which I wish to hear daily..
crazyoldsongs on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 @namitha993 yes i agree it is the most melodious and all encompassing

comment !
rasitha perera on Friday, November 02, 2012 i used to listen to a different version of this beautiful emotional song by lata ji, in radio ceylon. the first half is not mangon ka sindoor.. but starts as. is dharthi ka roop na ujhde, pyar ki thandi dhoop na ujhde, sab ko mile.(i cannot remember the full version). the second half is same. i found it more emotional than this in the film. if some one has that song please update and send mail to rasithaperera@yahoo.com.
coffeescup on Thursday, December 27, 2012 Ever since I've seen this movie 5 years ago, this beauty of this scene and this performance and Lata's voice just stick with me. Totally sublime.
