Awesome & Evergreen song..I watched this movie in theater during my
school days atleast 4 times only for this song and Rajesh Khanna who was a
rage at that time.

Nice meaningful song.Brilliant composition by SJ.Kishore saab was the voice
of R.K.It suited him to a t. Rajeshji was a superstar who swept women off
their feet by his charm. He could act too.Life is a journey which takes you

experience. Thanks a lot Jemalji.

This lovely song is the official trade mark for Rajesh Khanna. I love it
and it reminds me of the old good time and my childhood, wow what a great
song and actor and movie.Long live India, long live peace, long live
civilization.

Style – Glamour – Charisma – Delicacy – Intensity – Euphoria ... everything
is loaded so much in this iconic song that it is like virtual explosion of
energy for 4.14 minutes. Rajesh Khanna – Kishore Kumar combination always
creates magic. But i rate this song one of the top 5 by Kishore Da in terms
of his happy songs. The film Andaaz was average, Shammi Kapoor was the
hero. But KAKA saved the film from sure flop by his 15 minutes of special
appearance. So much was his SUPER STAR power.

Thanks for such amazing words you made ! Much appreciated.

Miss you Kaka.

the melody of Kishore is nowadays not seen. Kishore's domination on
Co-singers is always a proven fact, Government has miserably failed to
recognize such amazing talent and even Padmashri is also not bestowed. What
an injustice? dirty Politics spoiled Kishore getting DADASAHEB PHALKE
AWARD, EVEN MOHAMMED RAFI SAAB ALSO IGNORED BY DIRTY UNION GOVERNMENTS

Bombay Cinema has traditionally received rather bad press: sadly few can
argue against the fact that poor scripts and production values have often
justified this negativity. However, exhibited in this film are many reasons
why such harshness is equally unfair: Kaka in his prime with his
characteristically elegant brilliance, Shammi ingeniously and equally
characteristically affecting drama and comedy seemingly effortlessly, Hema
and Aruna at their most beautiful and charming and lastly, the final
occasion that musical geniuses Shankar-Jakishan collaborated interspersing
the maturity and superlatively ingenious aestheticism of Rafi and Kishore
to majestic effect. Few would argue that to label this ensemble anything
but vintage would be tasteless and disrespectful as they embodied what
Bombay cinema is at its best: timeless. Thank you my friend.

Lovely piece (I mean the "song" of course!) -- the entire bit - the actors
are great, but even the photography, coreography etc is just fab (Kudos to
the relevant director/s). I particularly love the choice of the motorcycles
used (the timeless RE "Bullet") ... did anyone see how in the last scene
the "other dude" (on a Bullet as well, but an older model) cuts-in and
overtakes the two of them as they are gambolling away? Just loved that bit
too - particularly as I am a proud owner of BOTH those models :-)

Vikram Herlekar on Wednesday, August 20, 2014
Another comment I had to make -- I feel in many ways THIS very song
epitomizes the LIFE of three absolute gems (all sadly no more with us now)
-- the peerless Kishore-da, the evergreen "boy-next-door" Rajesh ji and...
(can anyone guess the third?) -- it is the maestro Jaikishan ji (of the
Shankar-Jaikishan music director duo) -- this song was the LAST one to be
composed by him before his tragic death at the young age of 41 yrs ("maut
aani hai, aayegi ek din..." - talk of prophetics!). RIP to all of them...
but they forever remain "evergreen" in our lives, enriching it day after
day after day with such treasures that they gave us...

Three cheers to life,
the celebration called life.

Life is a journey... a pleasant journey
only if you are here and now

-without being anxious too much about
what happens tomorrow

-without taking to heart
what other say about you

-without losing the enthusiasm
to go beyond the stars

-without losing the smile
come what may

(Not an exact translation of the song.. just my twist after listening to
the song.Such a cheering song, sung and acted out beautifully - DP)
