Singing of this caliber raised the standard of Indian music all over the
world. Even amongst western singers, a singer of khursheed's caliber would
be difficult to find. Khursheed was a gift to music and will be missed for
ever.

Khursheed has sung a great masterpiece. I have listened to it a thousand
times and find it to be better every time. The range and control are
excellent. This is raga malhaar. It must be amongst the ten best songs of
all times.
