I'm a drummer- percussionist based in LA, sir, so I've been there and done
that. I think that gives me the some right to comment. JUST the outcome
does not matter. If a singer can't sing the right notes, he doesn't deserve
to be called a singer.

if music was just about hitting the right notes then there wouldnt be any
radiohead, coldplay, nirvana, bob dylan or jimi hendrix, it is just about
