After reading your comments,it seems that you are not satisfied with the message of the song.You know the reason they added this song in the movie is awesome.Life is beautiful. He is not complaining but he is welcoming more beautiful and wonderful ideas in his dreams so that whatever is incomplete, he completes that too.He is not showing that he is tired but he is getting ready to move with more power and with new and more dreams. Jaagey Hai Der Tak Hume Kuch Der Sone Do (I have been awake since a while,
let me sleep a little). Thodi si Raat Aur Hai, Subah toh Hone Do (Its still
night, wait till the Morning). Adhey Adhurey Khwab Jo Purey Na Ho Sake, Ek
Baar Fir se Neend Mein Woh Khwab Bo Ne Do (The dreams which were abrupted
and never came true, let me weave them again).. Sorry, i did my best to

that is so not what the song means Its something like: We have stayed up
long enough, let us rest a bit more, the night has yet to pass away, at
least let it dawn before. Our dreams were never fulfilled, let us weave our
unfinished dreams, in our sleeps, once again. I like to think it as a
tribute to the struggles of the common man of India.
