@chamogaa you are right vipan ji , In those days they used very soft
instruments and this kalaam - e - dagh required soft singing and ghulam ali
performed exectly as it should be and made us feel like ibaadat.. This was
mehfil of only 30 or 35 guests all celebs from music and tv . audio from
ptv's legendary mehfil " nikhar ". thanks for watching Vipan ji , glad that
you liked another gem of your favorite singer. regards

ghulam ali , what a sweet performance in legendary mehfil. kiya baat hai "
ab ham bhi jane wale hein samaan tou gaya " Ghulma li is really bringing
the house down in this mehfil. " ulti shikaetein rahein ehsan tou gaya "

The start feels like a pious devotee's ibaadat at some dargah. Well, as I
see it, all great classically-trained singers use their talent as an
expression of gratitude to the divine. It's the only form of attachment to
the divine I can identify with. Outstanding Daagh Dehlavi kalaam and

@samarjitacharjee He might sung in another sitting , i watched this show
live in lahore as a school boy like many of us did but remember those
ghazals i mentioned. i will take a look in that link you shared. i watched
and listened your audio version and have another one from different
mehfil.Thanks again.

@samarjitacharjee I don't think he sang " Aah ko chahiye " in this mehfil.
Other ghazals he sang were " bechain bohat phirna " kisi ko de ke dil koi
nawa " Tumhare khat mein " and " kuch yadgaar - e - shahr - e - sitamgar hi
