The inner knowing, a friend's heart's plea,

And on the third, Rukmini, with gentle hold,
Took the Lord's arm, a story to unfold.
"My Lord, what stirs you, this selfless deed?"
"My own Lakshmi, unwanted need?"

What magic is this, this union so deep?
Sudama becomes you, in slumber and sleep.
On one side, the Lord of all wealth and might,
On the other, the pauper, bathed in light.
A friendship so true, a bond to embrace,
Glory to Gopal, in time and space.

The Lord of Dwarika, His leela we share,
