Wonderful upload. Thank you very much. The tune is the familiar Punjabi
tappa, used by many composers eg. OPN's Tum Roothh Ke Mut Jaana Mujh Se Kya
Shikwa Diwana Hoon Diwana in Phagun (1958). I wonder whether this song is
from Kanchan (1941) sung by Miss Iqbal and Kantilal and music composed by
Gyan Dutt.

Actually, I believe I just came across the same link you may have seen, on
hamaraforums. I do not have access to that website as a user, but was able
