Kaifi Azmi was one of the most philosophical poet and the depth of poetic expression in this song is simply unfathomable. The poetry clearly overshadows the lovely melody of Roshan';s music, yet most of the credit is stolen by Rafi. This song remained in my heart even when I was just a kid. Even at that age I could not get enough of Zaheeda, they (Mumtaz and Zaheeda) all contributed to my early manhood.

@pyasa2009 - you cannot compare singers - all singers have their own style - they are all equally good. However comparisons can be made between the style adopted for the song.
