Was the hero playing the role of a blind man in the movie. I don't know as
I haven't see ten movie. If the same is true then I call it a super
performance by the male actor and if not then I may call it a sarcastic
performance by him. My apologies if someone get hurt by my comments. For
female actors the less I say is the more. Their expressions look that of
Sita and Draupdi of the mythological pictures of fifties and sixties.
However lyrics, music and particularly singing of Talat were meresmeric.
What a golden song if heard while eyes closed.

The song naine say naine na hi milaooo in santharam movie is a typical tune
very nice lyrics and a well trained sitar player those days will never come
what a nice gazal script by litrate now a days no body is here to touch
this gazal soft silky voice of talatji nice.

How wonderful to see this beautiful song on screen. Also, what a change to
see an actess - Jayashri in this case - actually moving her hands on the
musical instrument according to the tune and not just in any way as is
generally the case in Hindi films !

I am really overwhelmed with awe to read about Noor Lucknowi and his
poetry. What an anti-climax that he did receive proper education and could
not survive in the movie world despite being highly talented. Thanks.

Absolutely. In fact I am often viewing it untiringly - great Shantaram and
equally excellent support coming from Talat Mahamood as singer and on
screen by Jayashree with sterling performance. Thanks.
