Wonderful upload !This Meera bhajan is, indeed, very moving. Hats off to
Lataji and Vasant Desai for this masterpiece ! Nanda must have been 16 or
17 years old when she acted in this film - what a talented and expressive
actress at such a young age ! Thanks for uploading this old favorite,

Who can not be moved by a divine song like this, one of the finest
products of collaboration between Vasant Desai and Lataji ? Nanda's
innocence and anguish convey a broken heart with such effect that the

This movie,I saw when I was in class IX in 1956.What a beauty,what pathos
in the lyrics,and how beatifully the pain of Meerabai was conveyed by
Lataji.I could never get the pain of Meerabai out of my system.This beauty
of a song in the heavenly voice has always haunted me.The other two Bhajans
from the movie--Mhane chakar raakhoji &Muralia baaje re Jamuna ke Teer were
equally melodious
