Basically Sachin Dev Burman was a music director so was Madan Mohan. But they were good singers also. The most important thing I noticed was their originality. They never copied the voice of any singer.

Sachin Dev Burman rendered this beautiful song. I don't know the meaning of this song, but even after 41 years this sounds great. What a wonderful musician and singer he is Hats Off.

before he was a music director, SachinDa was a singer. You'd have to be aware of his songs sung in bengali before he made his transition to Bombay.
