I've already done favors by zeroing in the details of the ugliness of the actor and Rafi's mistake by singing for him. I have no complain whatsoever against the song other than that Laxmikant Pyrelal used a mixture of other Noble Music Directors' and not their own. Well, they never had any of their own style. Never even spoke Hindi / Urdu properly and were shallow knowledged on Indian classical raagas.

LP created a mix from Madan Mohan, Roshan, SD Burman and some from SJ's and claimed as their own style. LP did not have any style of their own. They were KA's assistants since 1958.

Rafi could've said "NO" to the producers of Parasmani. And the beauty you are talking about should've remained "Pas-e-Pardah". In other words, behind the curtains. Regards.

Singers had authority to say "No" if they didnt' like or agree or could not sing a particular a song. It's happened hundreds of times. Rafi fans understand it as well.
