A bride now a widow, her adornments erased,
The vermillion's crimson, her destiny defaced,
Those who walked beside her, now distant and gone,
The dreams of a bride, shattered before the dawn.
Her heart's image a corpse, in this desolate plight,
For whom will she live now, bereft of all light?

Homes lie in ruins, a childhood now scarred,
Who will now sing lullabies, in this life so hard?
How will childhood survive, without a mother's embrace?
Who will extinguish this fire, this desolate space?
Each one trembles in fear, their shadows cast wide,
No hope of returning, as they venture outside.

Here, birdsong awakens, each dawn a new bloom,
As evenings surrender, to night's starry tomb,

Such are the tales, that the people convey,
